What is Custom UX?

Custom User Experience (UX) provides users with the ability to personalize their Ziosk Device in many ways.

With this customization, users can set their preferred background for the screen, as well as create a more visually appealing and comfortable environment.

Additionally, users can choose which primary buttons are displayed, providing quick access to their most frequently used functions.

Custom UX Defintions

Term	Definition
Home1 (No Check)	Background image displayed when no check is open at the table.
Home2 (Check Open)	Background image displayed when a check is open at the table.
PrePATT Popup	Optional full-screen image or video (MP4) that appears after selecting “Pay Now.” Displays for 10 seconds before automatically continuing to the payment flow. Guests can also tap the screen to move directly to payment.
eClub (Email Club)	Displays the eClub sign-up screen.
Promo 1–10	Configurable promotional pop-ups that appear when selected from Home1, Home2, or Secondary Nav buttons.
Background	Select an existing asset from the Media Gallery or upload a new one.
Secondary Navigation	Add or modify the buttons accessed through the ☰ (hamburger menu) in the upper-left corner of the Home Screen.
Main Navigation	Add or modify the primary buttons displayed directly on the Home Screen.
