Adding & Editing Modifier Items

Step 1: From the main menu, select Modifiers to view the list of all modifier items.

Step 2: Select a Modifier Item from the list that you want to review or edit.

Step 3: Review and Update the Information Section

• Name – Guest-facing title

• Notes – Recommend entering POS coordinates or Modifier Group name

• Description – Guest-facing description

• Select Special Designations

  • Prepend – (optional)

  • Modifier Flag – Select “mod code NO” if this item is automatically included on the menu item.

    • When a modifier is unselected on the device, the kitchen will see “NO” in front of the modifier item, but none of the others.

  • Visible to Guest? – Should this modifier be visible to guests?

  • Contains Alcohol? – Does this item include alcohol?

  • Is Included? – Select Yes if this item is automatically included on the menu item

  • Available For – Select applicable device type(s)

Step 4: Review Modifier Group Settings

• Quantity 0 to 0 – Modifiers are optional

• Quantity 1 to 0 – Must choose at least one modifier

• Quantity 1 to 1 – Must choose only one modifier

Step 5: Click Save and Close
Once all information has been reviewed and updated, click Save and Close to apply your changes.
